Obituary

Bianca La'Net Priest was born February 2, 1977 in Birmingham, AL to Robertetta (Robbie) Jean Parker Priest and Dr. Marlon Lambret Priest. Bianca unexpectedly departed this life on October 18, 2021, after a very brief illness at UAB Hospital. Predeceased in death were her grandparents: Margarette Davis Hooks, Robert Parker, Jr. and Odra McKelvey Priest; and uncle: Victor Priest.

Bianca grew up in Birmingham, AL and attended Briarwood Christian School, W.J. Christian Elementary School and graduated from John Carroll High School.   She graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in English and a degree from Culinard, The Culinary Institute of Virginia College.  Bianca received Christ at an early age and joined Guiding Light Church.  She later attended The Worship Center Church.  She was the owner and operator of Who Doesn't Like Cake, Inc. Dessert Shoppe in Birmingham, AL.       

Left to mourn and cherish her memories are her mother: Robbie J. Priest, father: Dr. Marlon L. Priest (Dr. Leta Herring), Birmingham, AL., grandfather: Charlie William Priest, Sr., Moulton, AL., two sisters: Candice Priest (Fielding Link), Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Whitney Priest, Athens, GA.  aunts: Gwendolyn Hooks (Larry) Hervey, Tuscumbia, AL, Teresa Dian Davis (Tommy) Cunningham, Houston, TX, Rebecca Davis-White, Birmingham, AL, and Pamela Desmond (Larry) Stanford, Florence, AL. uncles: Frank (Carrie) Hooks, Muscle Shoals, AL. and Charlie William (Heather Joys) Priest, Jr., Decatur GA. Nephew: Charlie Link, Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Two adopted aunts: Barbara Taylor, Birmingham, AL and Dallas Vaughn, Sheffield, AL.  Godparents: Tim and Shirley LeVert, Sr., Birmingham, AL.  Goddaughter/cousin:  Nya Davis-White, Birmingham, AL. Numerous cousins and a host of family and friends.

Bianca loved people, TV, books and baking.  She was an avid traveler and net met a stranger.  She brought love, happiness and sunshine to all who knew her.  She will truly be missed.  Rest easy our precious Angel. We loved you but God love you best. Until we meet again we sent Marcel, your companion of 29 years, to keep you company.
