Mr. Will Pride was born on April 10, 1931 in Colbert County to the late Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Richard Pride. He departed this life on December 25, 2019 and was proceeded in death by three brothers: Felix, Roe & Eddie and three sisters: Artanda, Sallie and Laurine.
At an early age he confessed in Christ and for many years was a devoted faithful member of Nichols Chapel A.M.E. Church.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Lois Overa Dennis on June 11, 1953 for 58 years. To this holy union, four children were born.
Will served his country as a First Sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in supervision from Reynolds Metals after 30 years and went on to work and retire from TVA after 13 1/2 years.
Will touched and blessed the lives of everyone he met. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.
Will leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters: Cynthia Pride and Glenda Page; two sons: Michael Pride and Winfred Pride; two brother-in-laws: Walter Ellis Dennis (Shirley) and Millard Dennis (Maria); four grandchildren: Tiffany Oden (Rickey), Willie Page, Jr., Lakita Page and Kelvin Pride; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
